Amazing book, the writing is excellent, great tension building. I had to hold myself back not to finish it immediately. The characters are relatable, I really like how realistic they feel. The topic is a bit dark but handled in an excellent way. I really liked going through the process of grieving with Sydney in the book
and I love the way her relationship with June evolved
, truly excellent book, loved it and will definitely read it again!

A little predictable but a good read and I enjoyed the characters. An excellent book for describing grief.

3/5 stars

This book deals with grief in a way I haven't really seen covered in many other books before. Though it's targeted at young adults, its exploration of grief is something I can see a lot of people relating to and connecting with.

When Sydney's father dies in a car accident, grief-stricken Sydney starts to suspect that his death may have been no accident. I really liked the writing style, the pacing was fine, though a little slow in parts, but the mystery part is what started to fall flat for me, hence why I didn't give it four stars. Basically it's quite predictable.

It's the bit where Sydney says
"I don't know why, but I trusted Heath"
that really got me thinking that it had to be [insert name of person here].

But overall, I did like this book and look forward to see what Savannah Brown writes next.

Would I recommend to a friend? /// Yes/maybe.
