SpoilerFrom his last conversation with Tena, Agni never forgotten that he was responsible for taking the lives of hundreds of innocents. He keeps attempting to kill himself until he was saved by Luna, asking him to keep on living with and for her.

Fast forward to ten years: Tena gives birth to Iya who is a blessed, having fire abilities like his grandfather, Doma. Agni and the others have been living peacefully, having his right arm fully regenerate as time went by.

Meanwhile, San leads his religion of Agnism, which still gathered a lot of followers. He's blinded by the idea of Agni-sama who he still believes in very deeply,
Spoilerexecuting those who believes otherwise.

Amnesiac Judah or Luna was kidnapped by Neneto and is planned on continuing to save the world still, by being the 'tree' that warms up all the snow. Agni, abandoning Tena and the others, and having brought back the flames on his body from Iya's ability, is now in pursuit of Luna.

Let's be honest here. The LGBT stuff or the depression stuff that the writer has sprinkled in this series is utterly inconsequential in the end.

It was an interesting portrayal of mental health issues though. Guilt, suicidal tendencies, a bit of identity crisis too. But in the end, does it matter? Was the character able to exit his agony or was he just thrown further into it?

Nicely sets the stage for the last volume. I'm amazed there's not dozens of video essays on the psychology of Agni tbh.

Agni’s character development is horribly amazing and sad.
