The first story about Holmes that I've ever read, and it molded my view of all of his adventures going forward: it's one of the best detective stories ever, and defines the genre.

La mejor novela de Sherlock Holmes, recomendable. Está muy bien armada!
Es Sherlock Holmes, así que me he llevado una buena dosis de deducciones imposibles, varios giros inesperados, entretenimiento y señores ingleses del siglo XIX.
Hands down this is my favorite short novel starring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Unlike the other novels, this one doesn’t dwell so much in the story behind the crime (once it is solved) and it’s totally focused on the happenings at hand. The plot it’s truly interesting, in fact I would say this is one of the most amazing cases the detective has faced, there is not one moment of peace, the plot moves fast and full of occurrences. All the little stories tide up together in the end in an intricate plot that finally makes a lot of sense. I’ve also liked the dark atmosphere that the landscape, a big protagonist of the story, painted; and also how for a change Doctor Watson has a bigger role in this novel while Sherlock Holmes is absent. Without a doubt this is a novel I will read again in the future.
