This book had me on the edge of my seat especially in the second half of the book. Really amazing how she told a story of gentrification as a thriller. Which it low key is in real life. Gave Get Out vibes! Loved it!

I felt brow-beaten about being a white person in America. I know I should have stuck it out and I would probably have liked it. But I put it down and didn't pick it up again and ended up giving it to a friend.

Even though you know who the bad guys are the whole book, the author still manages to get some good twists in there. #molepeople
