A fitting sequel to [b:How to Be a Normal Person|25548442|How to Be a Normal Person (How to Be, #1)|T.J. Klune|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1437768781l/25548442._SY75_.jpg|45341713].

Let me say this. Josiah is the Biggest. Man. Child. Ever. And I mean that in the nicest, most sincere, bestest way possible.

If you could take a Joey Tribbiani, instill him with hipster stoner vibes, take out the blatant sexuality, and fill him with all the innocent goodness around, then you’d have Josy.

Josy is the most lovable guy with the biggest heart of gold. He may not be the smartest kid on the block, but he sure is the brightest light with the biggest dose of optimism.

Of course you’ll laugh. A tear or two may be shed. If you want to put your own cynical grouchy self to the side for a few hours, Josy here, will help you do it!

If only more people were as giving and kind and earnest. The world needs all the Josy’s possible. Read this to get your dose!

I found this a little hard to get into, and for the first couple of chapters I kept stalling and not reaching for the book despite being told by many many reviews that I would love it.
Then I read it.
My cheeks actually hurt from smiling so much and I laughed aloud so many times I switched from the audio but then kept laughing.
This is so utterly charming and endearing and adorable.
I also really loved the way Demisexuality was represented, and the mental health and neurodivergence was nicely done.
I loved this so so much.
Looking forward to reading How to be a Normal Person

This story made me laugh so hard that I had to stop listening to this book in the car - I couldn't see through my laughter tears enough to drive safely. It was so beautiful in so many wonderfully queer ways. The scene with the cookie...I won't give any spoilers but it is in the top 5 of funniest moments I've ever read in a book. An absolute delight.

It took me a minute to figure out if I was going to like it or not. The main character is quite funny I'm very straightforward and very truthful. It's almost a lot to take in but it kind of is the purpose of the book. I enjoyed it because it taught me a lot of things about myself that I need to work on and how to look at life in a different light but that's just me.
