This story had a lot of potential so I had to keep reading. But the very mature themes tied with the juvenile way it was written (is the author 15?) just didn’t do it for me. I cringed A LOT.

it was overall an intriguing read. the ending was pretty predictable, with the exception of the last bit, which i thought was rather silly instead of a ‘gotcha’ moment. not sure how i felt about the inclusion of a teacher x student relationship. i’m aware that presentation does not equal to endorsement, but i still felt that i did not need to read about the sexual relationship between a teacher and his student told in graphic detail.
Waste of time. This could’ve been a simple SVU episode.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!
I’ll admit, I wasn’t crazy about it at first. If you’ve read the Private series by Kate Brian you’ll have a touch of deja vu, but please keep reading!
My favorite part of this book is you don’t know which twin is dead until the end 😍
Michele does a fabulous job of giving us clues that make us think it’s Bel’s dead, then she makes us think Rose is dead.
Michele also does a good job of giving the characters enough background to make them interesting, without going overboard. They’re all intricately woven, and I was suspicious of almost everyone.
This book is truly wonderful, and I am so excited for y’all to get your hands on this one!
