since namjoon had read it, i did too. i had actually seen the animated movie before reading this book and they were quite different. children’s books and animation can be so wise and heartwarming and mature if we are not so neglecting of everything tagged “childish”. 
this was one of the short reads i did last year’s summer in kshmr to increase my book count 🥰 i feel like i felt disconnected with the story at times as to where it was going but lovely quotes in this. will reread and write a review soon.

Eine kurzweilige Geschichte, für mich persönlich ein wenig zu philosophisch und es wirkte so erzwungen für alle Altersgruppen ansprechend zu sein, dass es das für mich nicht war.
Nett für Zwischendurch aber meiner Meinung nach viel zu sehr gehypt und hochgelobt, da finde ich bekommen andere "Kinderbücher" das Generationenübergreifende besser hin (z.B. MoMo von Michael Ende).
