Mary Anne & Logan were my first OTP and their story is extra cute & fun in this latest BSC graphic novel adaptation. The personalities of each of the characters really shines through in the art.

I'm continuing with #thebabysittersclub by #annmmartin because the are fun one night reads, and don't we all want to be awkward and uncomfortable and 13 again? Number 10 #maryannelikelogan is cute and has all the feels of middle school romance of the chaste and heavily parented 1980's. It is cute and honest, and welcomes the first boy into babysitter status (yay #dismantlingthepatriarchy). My problems with this episode stem in the structural issues of middle school- were they fitting in 10 classes a day and a dance every 3 weeks? Times have changed!

I really loved this read. It was fun take on the old story with updated twist. I loved how the romance was handled in this book and how it developed. I also really enjoyed seeing the introduction of several new members to the club!! I also loved the dymanics of the club as well. I am so excited to keep on going in this series.

Mary Anne was always my least favorite. I never understood her motivation well. I understand it a bit more now, but I still find her annoying

I pretty much read the entire babysitters club collection. I used to swap the books in an american bookstore that was in Venezuela.
it was great fun.
I don't really recall all the titles I read but this one is a for sure...because I wanted my very own Logan (since I identified myself with MaryAnn), and I was sooo sad when the broke-up a whole lot of books alter.
I remember also watching the movie but that sucked.

I can’t really explain why I’m giving this book five stars, it’s just kind of a gut feeling. I think I remember getting severe second-hand embarrassment from this book when I was little (and I kind of still do lol) but now I mostly just feel for Mary Anne and she reminds me a bit of my younger self.

I LOVE Mary Anne and Logan together; I think their relationship is so sweet.
I like that Mary Anne is the first to get a steady boyfriend, even though she is shy and quiet. HOWEVER, why does Logan call her too sensitive?! He really hardly knows her and I can’t think of a time where she has acted sensitive around him (shy, yes. not sensitive). Maybe it hits too deep for me lol or maybe it’s just a realistic middle school boy comment. All in all, he loves (likes) her for who she is and I think they are sweet and cute together.

I also love Mary Anne’s dad’s character development! He is much less strict in this book and shows how much he cares for her. He seems like a good dad.
I LOVE that he wanted her to adopt a cat from the shelter!!! Such a good part of this book!!!!

The last thing I want to add is that every time I read one of the BSC books I don’t ever want it to end. I love how realistic and different each girl’s perspective is and how I can relate to each one despite their differences. Mary Anne was never necessarily one of my favorite characters, but I love her more and more now and didn’t want this book to end. I just love how each book and each character sucks me in to the story. These are good books. :’)

Side note: I just want to remember forever that my copy of this book smells amazing. Like old pages and book glue and nostalgia.

Ahh Logan Bruno and Mary Anne Spier were #relationshipgoals back in the day. Five stars for the nostalgia factor.

Dude, Mary Anne, if you're shy, maybe Logan isn't the one for you. Also, no wonder those books are so addictive--everything is a list. A planner's delight.
