The survivors debate whether to trust Eren since he can transform into a Titan. It becomes about an ill advised plan to plug a whole in the wall using the Titan. So in that regard, it felt like not a ton happened here. This is the volume for Armin’s character development so that’s something. It’s your typical war/dystopian character that is somehow still a coward after years of things being truly awful for the human race. However, these stories always have a character like that so I wasn’t surprised.

This volume has a lot of tactics incorporated along with the action which makes it a wonderful read. The story picks up pace and I'm very much invested in this world right now.The cliffhanger at the end is very tense and I cannot wait to dive into the next volume as soon as possible.
