This was such a sweet and quick read. I love a friends to lovers trope and these two were besties. I wish Raegan got out of her head faster, but once she did the chemistry was so hot. The town was interesting and I can’t wait to see how things move forward. I wish there had been more of an explanation behind the ex and what happened to him.

A fun friends-to-lovers werewolf romance that’s super easy to read. The characters are likeable and relatable, with good mental health representation and sweet relationships (if a little cringey at some points). The book overall felt a bit too short, with the end seeming rushed with an abrupt end. I wanted more from the characters and how they navigate their relationship.

YES this was just the palate cleanser I needed and made me really excited for spooky season in just a short five months! This book was described as a low-stakes, friends-to-lovers, paranormal cozy small-town romance, and IT. DELIVERED. I loved the Gilmore Girls X Halloweentown vibes and felt like we as readers got more than enough exposition here to really build out the cozy paranormal town of our dreams as we enjoyed the play between Jaime and Reagan - which I think is actually really hard to do in shorter books sometimes. I was charmed, I enjoyed the banter and spice, I am very curious about what other spooky scary skeletons are hiding in this cute little town, and I am craving the release of autumn leaves and crisp fresh new books from an indie bookstore because of this book, which is great because the next book in this series just came out!
