A great installment with a super exciting ending that makes me look forward to reading the next volume, though it was a little boring/slow in places compared to the first volume. Still loved it though.

Still enjoyable, but not as much as the first one. The art style and character expressions are still my favorite, but this volume felt a little more melodramatic/far fetched than the previous one. The character relationship arcs also seemed a bit rushed/cramped, and the resultant ending of the comic was pretty typical/cliche relationship drama. It looks like a character who has just been floating in the background for unknown reasons will be stepping up in the next volume but a bit more direct info in this volume would have been nice, instead of a parallel storyline that doesn't meetup until the last couple panels.

I feel like Charlie should be a dealbreaker because she is THE MOST FRUSTRATING, but she somehow doesn't seem like an unrealistic character to me and I'm afraid of what that says about me and the world. Anyway. I loved it. This series pairs well with the Zoey Asche books by David Wong, they have a similar premise, fast pacing, and neither is afraid to push into the realm of absolute ridiculousness.

I thought I was gonna explode waiting for this volume to be released, but luckily I did not, so that I could scream multiple times while actually reading. I LOVE the art in this series - the fight scenes are electric, the dialogue is so funny and so good.
