**Also updating this from 5 to 4 stars**

Okay so this book may be a little overhyped. I personally didn’t cry or find this book to be “life changing” or “insanely emotional” as other people say. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but once again, I found it kind of lackluster.

(Initial review)

Honestly it kinda started off a little slow for me but once the plot thickened and I got about 1/4th of the way through, I read it in a day!! A cute second chance at love story

Wow what a book.

I did not expect to be sobbing at 12am on a Thursday night when I started this book but here I am. I have had this book for months and had it on my wish list for a year and I honestly wish I had picked it up and read it months ago. This books was so beautiful, cute, happy and heartbreaking.

My heart warmed reading the start of a beautiful friendship, seeing the friendship blossom, having the excitement of knowing that is turning into more but it being in the most innocent and cute way possible as kids and it turning into a relationship, I did not expect the last 3/4 of the book to have me feeling so many emotions that I had to stop and re read chapters because I just was not ready for it. Even with the heartbreak this book remained a beautiful story about love and loss and finding eachother.

If I could erase this book from my memory so I could snuggle back up and read it again for the first time again I would, I can’t wait to read it again.
