I had a hard time putting it down, I was absolutely hooked from the start. Dell lived a very precise, very single life until one day a baby is dropped off at his door, his inexperience with kids puts him in amusing predicaments. Arianna is witty and strong, I loved seeing Dell panic and show his soft caring side. This has it all; it's funny, sexy and sweet. Definitely a must read!

Ooh, this was a great read! I read it yesterday (it was in J.J. Knight's other book, 'The Accidental Harem') and I really enjoyed it. It was sweet, cute, funny, and had great pacing and editing. After reading this book yesterday, I picked up the sequel, which I enjoyed just as much. 4.5 stars.

Dnf, I don’t know if this author is British, but the mmc spoke/used words and phrases that sounded British but this is set in NYC and the fmc didn’t comment on an accent so I assume he didn’t have one. His reaction to the baby was too much of a caricature.

“This is what a family looks like. Maybe not the way anyone would have planned. Maybe not the most traditional. But forged in fire and burning brightly in love.”

I was nervous when I started the book. I knew it was going to be the typical playboy billionaire who changes bc of a sweet, innocent baby. I have to say I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Arianna especially was a strong, intelligent woman who had such a giving heart. She fell in love with baby Grace immediately and I loved watching Dell stumble through. The conclusion of the book was so good. The way they both put the baby first was exactly how it should be. One thing I was worried about was that this would be all sex with little story. I was wrong. Yes Dell was a player and yes his mind strays A LOT. But there really weren’t a bunch of sex scenes. The main one was sweet and I loved how Dell handled it. It was also heart melting how he handled the after. How he was so broken bc of it, couldn’t function well bc his whole world had been changed.

“Would have saved me a lot of trouble,” he says, his voice bitter. “I wouldn’t have fallen in love with her, and I wouldn’t have fallen in love with you.” For a moment, I’m sure the ground has fallen from beneath my feet. “What did you say?” “You heard me,” he says. “But it’s pointless. You want the baby. So just go. Take her to the fourth floor. Raise her. Just do what you have to do. I just can’t see you. I can’t stand all the things we could have been.”

Easy Read

Somewhat predictable, easy read. Slow in some chapters. I enjoyed it. Definitely gives off a little bit of Wattpad vibes.

A quick, funny, cute read. It was hilarious to read about the failing of Dell as a dad. The development was amazing to read. I loved his relationship with Arianna. The plot was well structured. I am definitely going to read the sequel 💙

This was a good book. I was invested and the characters were ok, nothing too special. I'm a big fan of baby Grace and Max the dog. I went through it so fast, wanting to know what came next. There were just a few things I disliked. First, I liked the pace. Their relationship was developed really well, not too fast, not too slow. However, when you think about how long they've known each other, it's like a slap to the face. They've known each other for like five days before Arianna wants to spend the rest of her life with him. In my opinion, that's a little too quick. Second, I was kinda disappointed with the ending. I was hoping to see an epilogue with more scenes of the three of them as a family, maybe with Grace being older and possibly with a sibling. Overall, it was good and I enjoyed it.
