Beautiful descriptions of the mountains and the people living around them. But despite its first person perspective the whole story felt incredibly distant and whilst I was sad in the end I didn't feel for the characters as much as I would have liked.
Prachtig boek! Gedurende het verhaal ga je steeds meer meeleven met Bruno en Pietro, hun avonturen in de Italiaanse Alpen en de levenslessen die ze leren. Dit is echt zo'n boek dat je bijblijft, mooi.

Zo veel zin om een bergwandeling te maken! Dit boek leest fijn en werkt kalmerend. Er had wat mij betreft nog iets meer mogen gebeuren, ik wachtte op een plotwending die niet kwam. Desondanks een goed boek.
