Took me over six months to finish this book… much preferred the movie. The chemistry was better & the timeline made more sense than the book.
for once, the movie was better than the book. it's also upsetting that publishers wouldn't give robinne lee, an actress, a chance when she made black protagonist even though she is a black woman. publishing teams, boards, and landscape needs to be more diverse because that shit shouldn't be happening.
