This is a great short read. It has everything, character development, romance, curvy lead Birdie who isn't overly self conscious, an inexperienced broody Hank. This is a sweet romance with just the right amount of spice. Great from Sherilee Gray as always!

I don’t know if it was just me being asexual that had me rolling my eyes a lot or if this is just that cringey. Sex does not equal love, not at all. Apparently Hank and Birdie didn’t get the memo. They have sex for a week and decide they are madly in love and can’t live without one another.

*cue the eye rolling*

That’s basically the only thing I didn’t like about this book... and the dialogue got worse towards the end.

I loved a curvy lady being the most sexiest woman a man could imagine. I loved that he worshipped her body. I love that he loved her belly! As a curvy person myself, my biggest insecurity is my stomach. To finally have a book that mentions the belly and calls it beautiful is a HUGE DEAL.

I liked Hank and his innocence. It was refreshing to have the guy be the inexperienced one for once. I swear, in real life, you’re more likely to come across an inexperienced man than a sex god.

The sex scenes weren’t bad, at all, but they weren’t perfect either.

I still couldn’t connect with the characters. Something about them felt flat, inconsistent, and underdeveloped.

By far not the worst smut I’ve read but also not the best... by a long shot.

Oh poor Birdie. Someone so lonely that in a desperate attempt to make friends she almost dies, lost in a snow storm. And Hank, a perfect example of a gruff recluse, who is also desperately lonely but really can't handle people. But he can handle Birdie. Boy howdy can he. WHEW! Great sex scenes. A little angst but overall a fine example of a storm making two people bang and fall in love.

Hank is such a sweet, albeit gruff guy. There's an air of innocence about him that's endearing, even though his communication skills need some work.
Birdie is curvy and confident and doesn't harp on her size.
Their chemistry is hot, but it wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be.
