Maybe my favourite read this year so far. This novel moves between the serious topics of immigration and colonialism and then short vignettes of observations made by the security guards throughout their day. I love the pacing and the way this is told with a glimmer of humour throughout like someone who is looking for the positives in everything. Overall a great short read that really makes you think.
