The premise for this book was to die for. The opening was trapping. Robin just became annoyingly whiny after awhile. I won't ruin the mystery, but I saw it coming from very early on, like chapter 9 or so. The ending seemed a little rushed, but at that point I was getting really annoyed with Robin. I do wish we could have known the ultimate fate of the stalker.

Although this seemed like a good mystery, and I was left guessing who the was the murderer, I just was never able to "get into" this book. I don't believe this was the fault of the author, but more a reflection of my own inability to connect with the main character.

First person, boring, unrelatable characters

I gave this writer another shot, but am just not a fan. Characters that do the predictably stupid, everything by-the-numbers, including the stilted prose and wooden dialogue... I need a little bit more intelligence in my beach reads. There's definitely an audience for this, it's just not me.

A very quick read, but I had a pretty good idea on the ending. Her books are always such fun thrillers though. I love that they are high paced so that you just want to keep reading until you reach the end. Recommended.

I have read this authors books. I did like them. However I have to say that this book got back to the best of Ms. White's roots like her first book Hush. I had not read any books from this author for a few years due to they were only ok. I decided to try this one out. Very fast read. In fact, I was half was done before I took a break. Although there are some weak moments like how come none of the characters in this book picked up on the fact that there was someone out to get Robin. No one knew until Robin told them and even than they did not put two and two together. Also, Robin was a bit ditzy herself. Despite all of this I did like this book. There was enough suspense to keep my attention until the end. Also, the romance thrown in the mix was fine but not really required. The book was good even if there had been no romance. I look forward to the next book.

Listened during power walks. Really bad book. Certainly did not have to focus on the story. Dislike the audio girl plus the story. Oh well makes my other books that much better.

This just felt flat. Robin's back story was cliche and not fleshed out, but brought out and worsened whenever it was needed to push the story along. No one in her office's security considered how stupid someone would have to be to search Barbie and then leave a Barbie doll (seriously, just go to any toy store and buy one? Why search?). Robin would veer wildly between frightened and rocking to ignoring everything and thinking it would be solved tomorrow?

And then, the whole thing comes down to "oh, jealous woman!" and "you took my man!" and Alex came in to rescue everything and...blah.

I liked Eyes On You. It was a super fast read. But judging by the description, I felt a little let down. Robin is a TV host. She has a book out rising to the top of book lists. Good chemistry with her handsome co-host Carter, life is pretty good. About a year ago, she never would have seen herself in this position. She was at the bottom of the barrel. So to speak. Her marriage and career in ruins. Although this was a suspense novel, I didn't feel edge of my seat at any moment. Robin was not a likeable character. But she wasn't unlikeable either. She was just kind of blah. I wasn't surprised at who was behind all the nasty pranks and career sabotage. I am just surprised Robin didn't have an inkling. There seemed to be quite a few false leads and filler. All in all, it's worth a read.
