It didn't feel like their relationship really developed. It was just there. But I'm actually bummed about the Darkmourn 1.5 story that doesn't seem to exist anywhere other than the 2 chapters at the back of my book.

This story could have really been something if it just had more character development and world building. A really interesting premise, I just wanted more. But it was a fun read at the end of the day so 3.5 stars.

Lord of Eternal Night is the first in a new series from Ben Alderson and whew! Imma need a minute too cool down- from all the fire, not the sex. J/K! Totally cause of the sex scenes.

It’s sort of a MM Vampire / Witch version of Beauty and the Beast. It honestly was pretty good though. Good writing, some surprises, good characters with real stakes. Good medium-slow burn. Great adult scenes.
