Este historia es mucho mejor leerla porque por alguna razón duele más, descubrí que veo a Oda como una figura paterna y la verdad es que es un muy buen personaje, además de Dazai que es un capo.

We were like soldiers who had by chance run into one another on the desert battlefield, crowded around a campfire together, quietly exchanging something or other and drinking, just sharing a moment of one another’s time.

In the world we live in, finding these types of relationships are rare, like coming upon a golden palace in the middle of a dense forest. If this relationship were to ever be broken, there would be no second chance to build something like this with anyone else ever again.

4.5 stars. if anyone needs me, i'll be looking up buraiha trio fan art and surfing ao3 tags for domestic fluff odango

I had to rip this one off like a bandaid, I know how much it was going to hurt and it didn't fail to hurt me all over again. Asagiri's got me, and reading these after having seen the show hits in a way that I didn't expect, the filled in moments hitting even harder with the narration. This had me crying for parts of it, even though I knew what was coming, and I think that's what hurt the most.

Congrats, Asagiri, you got me again.

"One must never open the door to another's heart and try to judge them for the darkness tucked within . . . But maybe . . .that was the wrong approach when it came to the man sitting next to me. Somebody probably should have tied [Dazai] up, pried his chest open, and stuffed a vacuum cleaner inside." Deserved.

Asagiri's afterword is delightfully nerdy.

required reading for any bsd fan to understand the port mafia and why dazai acts the way he does. there's so much i want to say about buraiha trio but i don't know how to put it into words. there's a poem in there somewhere. one about heartbreak.
