These stories were found many years after the author's death. Presumably she never intended to publish them in their current form. Although I was very excited to read them, and there are some nuggets of brilliance in them, for the most part they feel like unfinished ideas. I wish we could have seen what more Kathleen Collins would have done if she hadn't died tragically young.

A quick easy read of stories that aren’t always related but also very much could be related which kept every story fresh and interesting! Collins’ writing is so beautiful I felt like I knew each character so well even if the story was only a few pages long. Some stories felt like a script which I really enjoyed! Real good stuff, if you want to read some interesting well written short stories I would definitely recommend this one!

Wow... This collection. What to say? I adored how Collins plays with her characters and the structure of her stories. No two are the same and they are all a complete delight. First book in a while that I can't wait to read again. Stunning!
