At times, I found the way Miller and Kits dad were interfering in her life a bit frustrating and hypocritical considering they were often criticizing what her mom and Blake did. Overall, I think what Miller and Kit has was really sweet and he took good care of her. The adventure surrounding a lot of the book was fun to read and I really enjoyed it. Ulrika was really horrible though and even Maren was hard to handle a lot of the time. Maybe my opinion of Maren will change in the second book.

I really liked this one, specifically for the pure abundance of adventurous descriptions about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro! I felt like I was hiking with them, minus the physical aspect. π€£π
