How on earth did my 9-year-old book-loving self miss this book? I've been sitting on it for years because the hype was huge, but it was so charming!! And all of the characters worked their way into my heart, this was absolutely precious, so cozy and magical, and Howl, Sophie, and Calsifer are going to be a characters I won't forget.

I enjoyed both the movie and the film. This was such a fun read and enjoyed every second of it.

Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the story and the magic and the characters and the animation. It wasn't until a few years ago, and several movie viewings later, that I realized it was based on a book. I usually like to read the book first before seeing the movie and was a little worried the movie might make the book less great but I was pleasantly surprised to see how much I enjoyed the book! It's quite different than the movie but has all of the magic, great characters, and fast paced story that I had hoped for. This was a wonderful fantasy story and I really enjoyed this a lot. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Howl is so beautiful and pathetic. I love it when Sophie shocks him just by being the lovely person she is
