It was a good book, but I feel that if I hadn’t watched the movie 100+ times, I would’ve tired very quickly. The plot gets tied up wayyyyyy too quickly in regards to the “romance” and just how it all ends. The book was good, and the ending was lackluster. The romance really fell flat because it came out of absolutely NO WHERE! There was zero indication, it felt like a neat ribbon at the end when we saw no making of said ribbon. My biggest gripe was that I was so hung up on the guitar the whole time. I could not fathom why Howl was bringing a guitar of all things everywhere when he doesn’t play in instrument. Literally every problem I had with this book was solved in the last chapter, and that pissed me off.
