"Ranch Hand For Auction" is a short read with a simple premise. Meg moves back to her home state where she met Jake.

The setup is cute and sweet, unfortunately, I felt it had too many subplots. This is one of the times where being longer could improve the pacing and story overall.

In general, I got the feeling there was a lot going on for a week in book time. I bought the instant attraction but it turned into insta-love very fast and with no real development. I would enjoy it more if the author had kept it simpler. Sometimes, a romance only has to be sweet and cute.

By no means this is a bad read, the characters are really nice and I think they can be incredible in a longer book where we can enjoy their inner conflicts in more depth.

The chemistry between Jake and Meg is undeniable from the moment their eyes meet on the auction block. Who can resist a cowboy, especially when you've been stuck with a stick-in-the-mud for over two years! Plenty of laughs throughout, and the author keeps you on your toes! Loved this book and highly recommend it!
