Okay I think I'm still in a reading slump BUT this book apparently didn't agree with it😂... I loved the first book in this series (where you can see more of Whitney - the older Beck sister) because it was just what I needed. Fluffy, funny, extremely romantic and a little bit scary 🥰. I Did feel scared at night, yes, but honestly, who cares? It was too good to put it down... This book tho...
.
I've read it far faster than I did the first book and I was really really trying to find that time to read (there's still not much of it sadly 🥲)... This book is about Helen coming to terms with her witch heritage and Everett, who is... smitten 😂❤️. Also a baker. I sort of think about him as this huge fluffy teddy bear 🧸❤️ because it fits him so well. This story was more graphic in terms of scary stuff - which basically means that I fell asleep while reading just because I was scared to look away to the dark of my room 😂. But I think that's part of the reason that I could read this even in my reading slump, scary stories just work for me in that matter✨. You can also see more of the curses, hexes, general casting spells and Helen's cute little familiar in this book!
.
Romance was, as in the first book, extremely adorable 🥰. I was really rooting for them from the start. And in this case, there was even demisexuality representation - which is why this book caught my attention to be honest 😂. And ADHD rep 👌✨.
.
But the most important part of this book (or whole series) for me are the dreams the characters have and how are they pursuing them. It's scary/hard/impossible but they are not giving up and in the end, they can see that it's actually possible if they put their mind into it... ❤️ This was the main reason why I fell in love with the first book (Deon's dream career) and it's also one of the reasons I like this book so much as well ✨.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily posting a review. All opinions are my own.
I’ll Conjure For You is the second of Charish Reid’s Beck Sister Hauntings series. It can be read as a standalone, with a completely self-contained romance, although the familial connections make reading the series rewarding.
I really loved both Helen and Everett. Each of them are representations for often misunderstood marginalizations, with Helen having ADHD, and Everett being demisexual. I loved how these elements informed their characters, with the related anxiety due to these issues being conveyed beautifully. I appreciated seeing Helen come into her own and finding self-confidence, and both her and Everett being able to be vulnerable with each other.
The ghosts and magic are a fun aspect of the book, and while it skirts the line toward horror, it was never to the point where it was overly dark and intense. The paranormal/horror elements perfectly complemented the romance, and even the ghosts felt fairly “human” in their own way.
This was an enjoyable genre-blending read, and I’d recommend it if you’re interested in a paranormal/horror romance.

"I'll Conjure for You" by Charish Reid is a funny and honest book with much character development. This sequel to "I'll Come Back for You" reintroduces Helen, who is coming into her own as a witch and co-owner of the inn. When her crush, Everett, comes to her for help because his grandma's house is haunted, they become partners in crime and chaos, facing many scary situations together. The book strikes a perfect balance between spooky and heartwarming. Overall, I'd give it a 5/5 rating.

It’s Charish Reid’s scariest yet. A witchy, cozy horror romance that both thrills and chills.

At times sexy, spooky, and cute, this was exactly the romance I needed. Also, demi rep!!!

It was such a good book! I was pulled in right away. I couldn't put this book down once I got started. I loved Helen in the first book so I was dying to read this one. I'm so happy I got a chance to read it so early! I loved Helen and Everett from the start and their chemistry was unmatched. The paranormal/horror elements were so well done with the romance and steam.  The steamy scenes burned up my kindle and were so well done and the big showdown with the demon was epic. I truly hope there will be more books in this series. This was a great read.
