ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT. I was really excited during this one because they are FINALLY acting like they are ACTUALLY friends. Since friendship is the reason that I enjoy the television show, this is definitely my favorite book of the series thus far.
"Wanted" by Sara Shepard is book 8 in the Pretty Little Liars series and was supposed to be the final book, according to the Author Notes at the end. However, there are several more books and apparently the story picks up again during the Liars senior year of high school.
Focusing on "Wanted" as the final book of the series, I can say it's okay. Not mind-blowing, but average and I did feel like the ends were (mostly) wrapped in a satisfying way. I'm not going to go in detail with this book, it's enough to know that it has a "surprise" twist but even if you were reading this series with no previous knowledge of the plot or the TV series it inspired, it was fairly easy to see where Shepard was taking the book. That said, it was entertaining--who doesn't love a good twin twist full of deception, betrayal, and murderous intent.
I'm debating about continuing on with book 9, but I am curious how the story will play out as for the Liars. Stay tuned, I'm sure I'll have something more to say.

This is the PLL book l've been waiting for!!!! This is the five star installment I went through 7 books to get to, and boy, was it worth the wait! This book was filled with action, suspense, drama and finally answers…it had everything you could want in a Sara Shepard book, and more. After reading online, I found out that this was originally written as the final book in the series which make sense because some many loose ends are tied up, but I’m not complaining because I will 100% read the others.

Well, I know this isn't the end of the story, but it is for me, dawg. I'm satisfied.
