Not really a review but still wanna talk about it.
Welp. I know there’s like 8(?) more books to go but I’m wondering how it’ll continue. I can only assume that A (*cough cough* iykyk) is still there. Much like every book where they think (s)he’s gone but surprise! Nope.
But I haven’t read any farther. I had read up to this book years ago so I did remember the first plot twist but I did not remember anything towards the end so..

I am giving this 5 star hands down.
This book has to be one of best books of the series so far. The constant plot twists, the drama and emotion. I loved these plot twists because they answered so many questions and were easy, understandable. It didn't feel slow at the start like the books before.
I COULD NOT (and I can't stress this enough) PUT THE BOOK DOWN!!!
Honestly this book made me wish the producers of the TV show added the fact that Ali had a twin, what really happened to Ian and Spencer and Melissa rekindling there relationship!
Well done Sarah Shepard

This...This would have been the PERFECT stopping point for the 'original' arc. New A's identity revealed, the true facts of 'Ali's' death in the light, and the Liars safe and happy...Yeah, okay, we all know these two things will never apply to those girls. Not only was this installment confusing (thanks to all the twin switches), it was good. There is something so terrifyingly raw about Alison killing Courtney over a life that Alison made sure her sister could never have from the beginning. I really can't wait to read the next 8 books to see how the story ends.
This was WILD from start to finish. But a PLL book with a happy ending? No way... shits about to go DOWN in the next one!! I can feel it!
4.75 / 5 ✨would have been a GREAT series end✨
The ONLY thing that holds this back from getting a five is that the twin plot was introduced and concluded so late. It was BONKERS, though, in the best of ways, and wasn’t as convoluted as it could have been- just wish it had been introduced sooner.
The “crazy-twin-ends-up-being-murdered-because-the-sane-twin-is-shipped-off-to-the-institution-in-her-place” was actually not a twin story I had seen before, so I was pleasantly shocked by it!
