This series is pretty messed up. Quick reads, but full of inconsistencies and by now I'm kind of sick of it...
I LIKED THE BOOK. but it put me in a month long reading slump. the book was SO boring for the first half, possibly also due to this being the 8th book in the series and me being bored of it, and genuinely only got interesting at the end. if the rest of the book were like the last 50 pages, it definitely wouldn’t have felt as big of a chore to finish. faves: spencer, hanna, aria, emily (oh how the tables have turned). I am conflicted on whether i finish the series now or leave it as is. it was such a pretty ending.

I actually really liked this one. I did not expect that plot-twist though. This book felt very intense idk more intense than the others.

These 8 books actually made a lot more sense than the TV series, I enjoyed spotting the differences and because the plot differed from the series it still kept me guessing who would be the bad guys.

It’s honestly funny to me—the acknowledgment for this book (#8) talked about how it was sad to write the last PLL book. But the series has SIXTEEN?! Okay, Sara.
This one actually through me for loops with all the twists, so that was fun.
