Consider my mind blown! I will admit that I already knew that *spoiler* Ali had a twin, but Shepard gave twists to the twist, and I was still shocked by the final outcome! Although I'm not really sure where the story could go from here, I'm excited to read the new ones coming out this year.

I think this has to be my favourite instalment of the series so far. I cannot believe how different it is from the TV series but in a way that makes it more exciting because I’m not 100% sure what’s going to happen next!
The characters are growing on me but I still don’t have a favourite or find them particularly loveable but I am intrigued to see how they develop!

I think I got this one and the previous one confused on Goodreads. All fixed now.

Okay, so this one was actually more interesting than the previous ones, by a fair chunk. Of course, the girls are still ridiculous, hateful and petty, but things actually move along in this one. The plot actually ties (most) of the loose strings up pretty well, with some... interesting twists. The twin sister thing I rolled my eyes at *hard*, but otherwise... Some of it was interesting.
But wait, how are there more books?
Everything got finished!?
Aaaarrggghhh!

Originally this was the last book in the series but since then the series has been added to. I felt that this book would have been a good point to stop as the story was getting really unbelievable. In this book, we are introduced to Ali's twin Courtney who took Ali's place. This seemed very far fetched and difficult to believe.

Whenever the story goes back to the past it focuses on the same events and new details seem to get added in each book. The girls seem to keep remembering small details that most people wouldn't which makes everything difficult to believe.

I think that this should have remained the last book as I thought that the author did a good job of wrapping up the story. I'm not sure what is going to happen in the next book and it seems as if the series has just carried on due to the popularity of the TV show. I will still read the other books as I am interested to see where the story will go now.
