This is definitely one of the best books Sara Shepard has written. Every single detail is so perfect and I am always hungry for more. The ending is crazy and the epilogue is even more so. After completing this book all I wanted to do was read more.

Loved this series and have been trying to guess who killed her from the start but this was so unexpected and I'm still trying to get my head around it. Great book:)

Once upon a time, there were two beautiful girls named Ali and Courtney-but one of them was crazy. And as you know, with a few magical twists of fate, Ali became Courtney for a while. But what you don't know is that Courtney became Ali, too.

You heard me right you Pretty Little Losers... And it's all because of you. Remember when you stalked me in my backyard for the time capsule flag? And remember that girl who trotted out to lawn and talked to you? That wasn't me. As you astutely figured out, Courtney was home switching from Radley...and she didn't want to start over in a new hospital.

If she had to start over somewhere, it was going to be in Rosewood. And start over she did. She was supposed to go to the Perserve the very morning she saw you sulking around my yard-and man, did she jump on a chance fast. One minute, she and I were arguing-I was so happy she was on her way out-and the next she was in the yard, pretending to be me, talking to you guys like we're BFFs. Talking about my flag as if she hadn't been the one who'd stolen it first and ruined my masterpiece with that stupid wishing well. How was I supposed to know that everyone-my mom, my dad, even my brother- would think it was me out there and Courtney inside? How was I supposed to know...

That's one sneak peak into the story this is in chapter 29. And A tells it all. Hope you guys in joy, because that's my favorite chapter and I love that part

I kind of figured out some of the things, so that made the book a little long, but other than that it was good! the only let down was the very end, knowing that it wasn't a completely happy ending...well, that's okay!

Plot twists and lies filled the pages of this book.  When the real Ali comes back and befriends the Pretty Little Liars it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.  But in the end it keeps you wanting more even after the major reveal is over.

Not everything was bad though; Hanna’s mom coming back was such a good moment.  Her dad was so toxic and I’m so glad he isn’t in charge of her anymore.  Aria’s slowly getting better was also really nice to read.

I actually really liked this book more with my re-read, when I first read it I thought it was way too dramatic and ridiculous but now it’s genuinely entertaining and a nostalgic read.

Holy—

What?

I really enjoyed reading the last book in the series. There are a lot of twists to the plot. The book was interesting and filled with new surprises. The author smoothly sorts out every secret she mentioned through the whole series. The pace of the story is quite fast, there is no time to get bored. The story has a great ending. The series was a light, quick read and I really liked it.

Second read: March 2019

I think this is where I will cut off my re-read of the Pretty Little Liars series. It seems a fitting place to end at the end of the second arc, if you will. I marked this book down one star from the last time I read it because even though these are addictive reads, everyone in these books (with the exceptions of the villains) are complete idiots and keep doing stupid stuff. Also, the events of this book are really rushed. I think the reveal that happens in the beginning of this book, should have been revealed earlier on in the series, just so the 'game' could be dragged out more, and tension could have been built more.
