Oh, how much I needed this book. I think there are some parts I will return to again. I loved seeing all the good and bad parts of Dolly, and maybe that helped me accept me a bit more as well, cause who ever fell in love with appropriate? Maybe I related a bit too much to Dolly, but that also just made me feel seen. And least of all, not lonely. The end of this book and its message was magical, as someone who has really good friends and never seems to find themselves enough for them.

Platonic love between women is the most special kind of love there is, and this book is proof of that

it def has moments that are better than others but i think for a memoir it’s very relatable and she has great development throughout it.
