carriehopefletcher’s books are very creative, mixing the norm with the magical.
I found this book very heartwarming. Cherry has the ability to see other people’s negative feelings and she uses her baking to influence their feelings to make them more positive. This makes Cherry’s bakery very popular, but too popular that the guild need to take action as of course, when you start messing with people’s feelings and magic - things can get more than a little troublesome

This is my 3rd Carrie Hope Fletcher Book and much like the 2 that I have read before this one I enjoyed getting lost in this one and escaping to a world that is full of food especially sweet treats! It’s a book that has a lot of deeper meaning and I loved the synergy between the cakes and the story itself!

This one is about a Woman called Cherry who has powers that only a select small group of people on earth have that she can see bad personalities and negative emotions of a person. Cherry also loves to bake so she uses her power to help everyone around her through her baking. One day, she moves to a new town to help them, but Chase threatens to destroy her years of work. none of them know that the Guild is seeking them, working to destroy every good deed they have done, and working to destroy them, the one of a 100. The only ones with those powers. Now here's a catch. Chase sees the good emotions of a person.

I loved the emotions that this book portrays and the way it describes emotions like hate and happiness it amazing. They are described as monsters, and I can really imagine them in real life. And the story plot was amazing. This was magical realism done well. Carrie has a way of writing that I have never seen or read before and it’s a refreshing to discover a new Author that I love.

Además, escala a situaciones bastante fuertes demasiado rápido.

I....stayed up too late finishing another book. But so what?! It’s not like that’s a new occurrence. It is the first time in a while tho and I am very happy to have found a book which made me do that again.

This is the first story by Carrie Hope Fletcher that I’ve read, but I own two more and plan to change that soon.

The story took quite a different turn than I thought it would. Carrie could have easily made the story a “simple” love story but she made it more than that. I am the kind of person that usually needs something supernatural or at least sci-fi like to keep me interested. This book did give me that and it was a concept I have never heard or read about before.

Carrie, if you do write a sequel I will be very curious as to where you take this story next.
