This is the kind of story where none of the characters are made to be liked. This is a horror story that happens way too frequently in real life. And the kicker is that Rafi doesn't even get the help she needs in the end. 

Which, speaking of, the ending blew my mind and creeped me out even more! Like... I hate this story but Peñaflor did an excellent job writing it!

This book made me feel uneasy and unsettled and weird and anxious -- it's not every day a book can make me feel that way! 4.25 stars :)
