This was a fun read, it had elements of horror, fantasy and mystery with the tiniest dash of romance. Truly a good book, I'm very curious as to what happens in the next one!

The world and story were intriguing, but it felt like the story was trying to do too many things. They all tied together in the end, but it just felt unnecessary until then. I enjoyed it enough to want to keep going with the series, but not enough to want a copy on my shelf
