I've always been a fan of the natural disaster movies that Hollywood has put out - the first one I ever saw was Twister and I've been obsessed with watching it again often throughout my life. I've always had a strange fascination with storms so when I ran across this book and saw the cover, I knew it was a book I needed to read. This is my first Hazel James read, and I can't wait to read more.

"I am a mosaic, pieced together with glue and guilt, and somehow she seeped inside me and repaired all of my broken parts. She healed me."

Paige and DH are two separate souls just really looking for a safe place to settle. They both have their own demons in life and their own hangups in relationships. DH has lead a life that most of us will never experience and storm chasing is his therapy. He eventually takes Paige along and a relationship blooms like the poppies in Wizard of Oz. I loved ALL the amazing references to one of my favorite pieces of literature as well.

"My body is a powder keg, and he's the torch, and together we play with fire until we explode into a million beautiful pieces."

The writing is dual POV, first person, typical for contemporary romance, but I enjoyed that each POV had about two chapters in a row each time. I felt like that added more depth to the story instead of switching off at each chapter. I really enjoyed that small change in how this story was told. It was a beautiful timeline of disastrous events - Category 5 events, if you will. Each relationship in this book struggled in more than one way and it was interesting to see how the author handled it all. Just amazing! I was so glad to see their story come full circle. I loved this HEA.

This book was a hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a jar of cherries on top. I loved everything about this book, the characters were awesome, the little mentions here and there of things I love in my real life made my connection to the book so much more fun and the writing was awesome. Just read it!

I absolutely loved reading Chased! This was the first book I’ve read by Hazel James and boy did it not disappoint!

Chased is the first tornado chasing book I’ve read and for it to include romance in it was just a cherry on top of a sundae! Twister was one of my all time favourite movies growing up so reading this book I was completely hooked!

DH’s character ripped my heart out in all the best ways and how far he comes during this storyline is truly amazing.

Paige’s character is beautiful! She’s a bit of a spitfire but also so pure of heart.

I cannot day enough good things about this book! I highly recommend it.

Great book about second chances at life and healing after great pain and loss. Chasing tornadoes is pretty freaking interesting too.

I bought this book without reading the blurb or any teasers simply because I LOVED Hazel's debut novel I'll Be The One. This one without a doubt will join IBTO on my favorite books list! There isn't one bad thing I can say about this book. The story and characters are simply amazing! I laughed and I cried and I laughed even more. Perfect. This book is perfect. She will definitely be an auto buy author for me from now on. If she writes it I will read it!

I won a copy of this book and I was super excited to read it based on the synopsis and the fact that it had to do with storm chasers. Living in tornado alley I love anything and everything to do with tornados.
I started this book with expectations and was blown away, both by the writing and by the story. This was so much more than just a storm chaser book. It had so much heart and feeling that it was easy to get swept away in the story, so much so that I read this in one sitting and ignored pretty much everything around me.
I highly encourage every one to read this book. It has a sexy, cocky storm chaser with a broken childhood, a major rush of adrenaline, a sassy nurse, a whole lof of heart, a small dose of love and forgiveness and a whole lot of passion for life.
