Sometimes the main characters took me out of the story and the book, that being said, I think the side character deaths in this book were much more impactful than the first and I cried a LOT in the last could chapters

At this point I’m just morbidly curious about what’s going to happen next because these books are so bad.

- All of the characters are just terrible, annoying people that you can’t even cheer for. Like I’m talking 4 annoying YA protagonists that become more and more psychotic and stubborn.

- if they have one more battle that is the “last final battle” I’m going to scream. It’s just a terrible reading experience to be lied to that many times.

- a lot of the world building got destroyed. Now both sides have magic? Now their kryptonite doesn’t work on one side? Now they can bring people back from the dead? If they can do that last thing that means there’s no steaks in anything.

-why were there so many typos? It actually made reading confusing at some points.

- I’m not Black so I have no authority on the subject but I understand why several Black reviewers were offended by that ending. It was abrupt, and felt like tacky shock value. I’m honestly really disappointed in the author for doing that.

That being said I want to read the last book just so I can see how she could make this series any worse.
