What a creepy book, it worked though, kept me wondering. I even sympathized a little with the actions of the lead despite, or maybe because, of what happened.

Sort of complicated feelings over this little book, which I finished earlier this year. Way has a fantastic talent for atmosphere and I find myself returning to this story from time to time to study how she builds that element throughout the novel. The ending, however, was definitely rushed and not entirely unexpected, especially when you think about the language used at certain points in the novel.

Since this was a first novel, I definitely want to take a look at Way's other work.

I read it in one sitting, in a frenzy. It's hard to say I "like" this book because of the subject matter. But I was definitely held by it. I found the interview format a little cliche but the story had me overlooking it.

I just read this last night, it was good. But the characters haven't stuck with me the way the characters in great books do. I liked the way the story was structured bouncing between then end and the beginning. She did a great job of building suspense.
