The fourth outing in the Peter Ash series.
It ticks all the boxes for me in what I call my “airplane reading” category. I love the relationship between the MC and his best friend Lewis, as well as the relationship between MC and his girlfriend June.
Action sequences support the story, and while there’s definitely plenty of both action and violence, they stay semi-believable (ie believable in the fictional world the author has built).
I do wish the author had given more time to Eli Bell’s story. I’d love to see him again in another book.
