If you can get past that a big-city girl can seemingly quickly become an adept hunting guide in the wilderness, the characters are interesting and the story kept me reading.

This was one of those books that I finished because I wanted to see how it ended, but didn't really find myself getting involved in the story as much. To me, it jumped around a lot, and I just didn't find myself really connecting much with any of the characters.
