The Cowboy’s Lost Family by Roxanne Snopek, book one in The Malones of Gand, Montana series, is a wonderful start to a new series. Dr. Brade Oliver just learned that he was adopted; sending him on a search to Grand Montana, where he hopes find answers but ends up finding so much more. Kendall McKinley just wants to protect her family and friends especially when she finds Brade asking questions and stirring up ghosts of the past. I loved this one, the mix of past and present events that intertwine was fabulous and heartbreaking. The relationship between Brade and Kendall was truly beautiful to watch develop and the close connection between the main characters and the secondary characters was something I loved. The twists and turns of this story held me captive and made me not want to put this one down until the end. I would highly recommend The Cowboy’s Lost Family to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.

Brade Oliver comes to Grand looking for his biological family. Finding out he was adopted as a grown man, with his parents gone and unable to provide answers, has made him angry and hurt. Kendall has enough on her plate with her crazy family when they meet. He is the handsome stranger that catches here eye. She spends time with him and he is kind and a perfect gentlemen. She wants to get to know him despite the fact that he is passing through town. When his questions cause problems in the community she has to decide between him and her friends. How can she help him and protect the family he suspects could have the answers he needs? Good read.

A dialogue of feels that goes straight to the heart. Laughter, heartache and hope collide and create something wonderful.

The Cowboy's Lost Family by Roxanne Snopek is a delightful contemporary small town romance, especially if you love cowboys. There's a lot in here about rodeo and ranch life. There's also a lot of different meanings for the word family. So while it is, in fact, at its heart a romance, it also very much feels like a family story. It will make you feel all the feels, and to be honest, the sadder ones more than the happy ones. I just adored the depth and breadth of this one.
