Oh, this takes me back. Been feeling nostalgic, and found this at a rummage sale not long ago. This was one of the shows I watched as a teenager, and unlike the last book I just reviewed, this one didn't have cheesy lines.
Part one:
Kinda funny. Ben Sturky is apparently not much of a bather, so when Raven has a vision of him hugging her, she freaks. She also has a vision about him becoming her partner in a science project. Try as she might, not even asking Head Cold Kenny to step in and be Ben's partner for the project (because he's always sick and can't smell anything) works out for her. Head Cold Kenny's mother pulls him out of school, so Raven goes to the science teacher to complain until she gets a vision of Ben and her getting an A on their project. It's all Raven can do to get Ben smelling better with out him knowing, and the attempts are kind of comical.
Part two:
Cute story. Funny at times. Part one was funnier. Raven has her eye on a guy, and Chelsea has hers on another. The guy Chelsea likes is found to have the same name as her dog. Raven eventually hears her brother Cory calling himself "Doctor Love," and this gives Raven the idea to come up with a nickname for Chelsea' interest, Sam. They end up going undercover as guys in the locker room and in the gymnasium while Sam and his basketball teammates practice. Raven tries to make her idea work.
Well, that was definitely a nostalgic walk down memory lane.
