First of all, this book (at least my copy) could have been have the size it is, physically. There is a lot of empty space on the pages, which is rather irritating.
Now for the content... it's fine? I had hoped there was more on what Eragon and Saphira have been up to, more on the challenges they are facing etc., but they have barely a few pages and those feel more like set-ups for the other stories than stories in their own right. A bit disappointing tbh, though the ending was nice.
The three short stories are about Murtagh, Angela and Ilgra, an Urgal. Murtagh's was the most interesting, Angela's (as befitting of her) only threw up more questions, and while I liked Ilgra's, I wasn't really invested in it even though it's by far the longest.
Not a must-read and not what I hoped it would be, but it's fine.
