I lost brain cells reading this book. You've been warned.

My goodness, am I confused! This novel is certainly a roller coaster, but this is a roller coaster where you do not know what is about to happen, and when it does, you have not a clue as to what occurred. I am rather disappointed with the covers of this sequel. The first novel was absolutely beautiful however all three covers for the sequel do not live up to the first cover at all!

The only thing I can really tell you is that after Eureka cries, her family, Cat and Ander leave swimming in the ocean to a secret island to see a man, who can train Eureka. That is sadly it.

In the first novel, I really liked Eureka's character. She used to have determination and power, however in this novel she was incredibly annoying. She would randomly go off, then make silly decisions and confusing you all over again; she became the complete opposite. Then we have Cat, whom I felt had become a completely different person. Now I know she had just lost her family, but one moment she would be bubbly and the next she would be angry and throwing a tantrum; not to mention the fact that she was WALKING IN STILETTOS ACROSS THE SLIPPERY ROCKS ON A DANGEROUS BEACH! I mean, what?!

We then have the romance, or lack of. In the first novel, the innocence of their love was adorable, however in the sequel Eureka was just going on about how she could not love him (I know because of the aging and all but still) and then she was always thinking about Brooks. It was really confusing.

Lastly we have the plot... oh dear. This was one of the most confusing and random plots I have read in a while. At one point they were on an island, which I really struggled to visualise, and then next she was off on a unicorn flying to some other island that has just risen. I mean, I thought she was not suppose to cry? Then she did? And it was apparently good? I am very confused. Alongside this, the beginning was really slow. It was mainly the ending, I have not a clue what happened.

Such a disappointment, I absolutly loved the first book however this duology I felt was let down by the sequel. I still do not understand what happened in the end.

I adored this book.It was unlike any other I have ever red!Truelly amazing

if this is the last one I am disappointed in the ending. the book was great but if it is the last book I would have wanted a epilogue. does anyone know if theres going to be another book?
