This was not for me. I have watched the show, so I thought I could possibly like this, but I just found it very disjointed. Granted it is a collection of short stories, but it was hard to find the through line between them. Oh well, I’ll just stick to the show.

I don’t know if the book itself is five star but the audio narration absolutely is. What an enjoyable listen! I had this as my cross country audio and it kept me from driving off the road multiple times. I love Geralt and his uniquely Scottish drawl in a sea of European sounding peasants. Yennifer and him are the guard dog x mean girlfriend duo of my dreams. I love how much they nastily smile at each other and ruin mutually destructive plans.
