This was a really surprising book! It was a bit darker then I expected, but I did really like it.
The wordbuilding is real nice, and the characters feel pretty alive. Our protagonist, Ilsa is very relatable and her thinking process is really nice to follow.
I did love the intrigues, the mystery, the spying and the magic was superb aswell.
I don't really like what happened with Elliots character, which makes this book 4 stars for me. Let's hope for some redemption in the future.
