Love the setting (Seattle) and how modern it was - loved the niche topic of astrology (the characters work for a dating app that uses astrology to match people up) and love that it was gay. It was also just funny and great romcom vibes

this book was so cute! first of all, this cover is adorable, i love it very much. also, it’s fake-dating trope, which i’m definitely a sucker for.

it was very fun to read about these very different women fall in love. Elle is this bubbly, vulnerable, ray of sunshine astrologer, while Darcy is a prim and proper, and closed-off actuary. i fell instantly for them both, as well as the rest of the characters, which were equally as lovable.

i just did not enjoy the writing as much. i noticed one sentence being repeated and it messed with me a little bit lol.

anyway, this book had all you need. the humour, the tension, the banter, the chemistry, the sugar, the spice and everything nice :)) i will definitely be reading the rest of this series, i cannot wait !!

Fake dating and a classic fake dating structure, liked the characters mais pas plus qu’il faut. Je m’en souviens pas tant que ca, so pas full memorable

The brother annoyed me a lot in the first half of the book

I hated the third act conflict so much and I wish that Darcy gave Elle a big gesture at the end. I felt it was too small, her just going to where she does her readings with plants that she kills. Elle deserves a big gesture because she's been giving Darcy the big gestures when she needs it. That was a big letdown for me.

This was a cute one, a fair well executed fake dating and I really liked that they didn't dance around throwing the agreement out and begin seeing each other for real. I thought the astrology dating app plot was interesting - but also sometimes I had no idea what they were talking about since I don't know anything about astrology. Luckily it wasn't too astrology heavy so this wasn't a real issue.

This was kind of cute! Darcy is a heartbroken woman who broke up with her fiancee and no longer believes in love, wants no such thing in her life after all that happened. And Elle believes in Astronomy and out to find her soul-mate.

I love the details of Elle writing down lists for Oh My Stars based on things that come up or pop up randomly such as a list of what break-up songs each sign would listen to. There are other things I liked as well, but there is also something that happened in the last quarter or fifth of the novel that took it down enjoyment-wise. Or rather as some might call it, a 3rd-act breakup. If those get on your nerves or make things less enjoyable, please don't pick this up.
