I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

The wholesome cat content mixed with the horror art of Junji Ito captures the whole cat owning experience so perfectly, I can't believe it. This was fantastic! Very funny and just so relatable.

Coming at Junji Ito all wrong, with this being my first ever collection of his I've read. I've read Amigara Fault on IMGUR tho, which I believe fits its creepypasta atmosphere appropriately enough.

I can't really expound more on this book than the basic sales pitch: legendary horror mangaka does a domestic slice-of-life book about his adventures with two kitties, retaining his usual body horror style but employed to comedic effect. It works! It's funny as hell!

The letter at the end by his partner A-ko made me cry!

It was good for what it was: a short, funny manga about cats.

Junji Ito's horror art style combined with cute and silly stories about his cats was genius and hilarious. But there is only so much you can do with that until it becomes repetitive, which is why it's not a bad thing the manga is rather short.

The bonus comic about
Yon's passing and the earthquake
made me sad.

This is actually a lot of fun and quite funny at times. I think you need to be somewhat familiar with Ito's work to really enjoy the contrast between his art and the content but, nonetheless, a real treat.

Absolutely delightful. If you love cats, do yourself a favour and read this book. It is an ode to the utter weirdness of cats and how much their humans love them in spite of, and frankly because of, this trait.
It's laugh-out-loud hilarious, it's occasionally creepy, it's mushy and sweet. I loved it so much.
