This was such a cute read. Junji Ito is a cinnamon roll of a person, but his books are intensely dark and terrifying, so it was nice to read something lighthearted from him.

As a cat lover myself, I found myself identifying with his struggles and misadventures with Yon and Mu. I saw my cat's personality reflected in both of them, and I laughed out loud at several points, because, it seems that across borders and languages, kitties are the same no matter what.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Junji Ito, but wants something a little different.

This was such a cute and “uncanny” manga. I love Junji Ito’s creepy style going hand-in-hand with the adorable kitties. Fun stories for anyone who has lived with or loves cats. I highly recommend the collector’s edition; it comes with some Q&A’s and a bonus manga!

A fun read, but I was constantly paranoid I was going to turn the page to something horrendous.
