I listened to this on audiobook. Short and fun, nice to return to an old favorite although maybe not as good as I remember

Sometimes you just want a cozy scrap of childhood, and this one has all the good Freddy stuff. Nonsense disguises, incoherent ruses, liberal sprinklings of wordplay, strangely profound observations, fragments of poetry, and a strange historical moment.

I liked it. Freddy starts a newspaper with his friend who owns a newspaper, but he got fired and Mr. Garble is the new news man.
